Chewacla State Park

Chewacla Falls

Chewacla Falls

Established in 1939 Chewacla State Park is a perfect place for the family. With fishing, swimming, biking, hiking and boating there's always something to do at Chewacla.

This 696 acre park also features a number of different campgrounds, a playground, beach, cabins, and picnic areas with tables, grills and shelters.

Visitors to the park most love to explore the twelve hiking and mountain biking trails with a favorite hiking trail ending at Chewacla Falls using Deer Rub Trail.

The real draw to this park is the fantastic mountain biking trail system throughout. With Flat curves, banked turns, technical climbs, intense dips, off-camber sections, narrow bridges, loose rocks, large rocks, ramps and more, this is a mountain bikers paradise.

During the fall you can expect to find many Tigers fans as Auburn University is close by and out-of-towners often stay at the park when visiting for games.
